Who are we?
Bückstabü is a Dutch cover band of Rammstein. We’re a bunch of heavy metal fans, sharing our passion and our music with the world. We’re here to make some noise!
If you want to know more about us, visit our About page, or check out our music.
Our website address is: https://www.buckstabu.nl.
Wanna know who we sell your data to? We’ll tell you all our evil secrets, muahahaha! Just kidding, we mostly just store a few cookies. Who’s hungry?
What personal data do we collect ? And why do we need it?
Comments
When you leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent, to help detect spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (this is also called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service if you use it. That means we can’t read it, only the automated services can. Their privacy policy page can be found here. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in your comment.
Media
If you are a registered user and upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images containing EXIF GPS location data. Visitors to the site can download the images from the site and see the location data.
Cookies
When you leave a comment on our site, you can choose whether your name, e-mail address and website may be stored in a cookie. We do this to help regular visitors, so you don’t have to enter these details again for a new comment. If you come here often, no need to introduce yourself, you’re always welcome here! These cookies are valid for one year (we wish real cookies could last that long…).
If you visit our login page, we store a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal information, and is deleted as soon as you close your browser.
Once you log in, we will store some cookies related to your login information and screen display options. Login cookies are valid for 2 days and cookies for screen display options are valid for 1 year. If you select “Remember me”, your login will be saved for 2 weeks. Once you log out of your account, login cookies will be deleted.
For admins and editors, when you edit or publish a post, an additional cookie is stored by your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and only holds the post ID of the article you edited. This cookie expires after one day.
Embedded content from other sites
Posts on this site may contain embedded content (e.g., videos, images, messages, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited this other site. Meaning we don’t have any power over what data and cookies they store, sorry… 🙁
These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with this embedded content, including recording your interaction with embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that site.
Yeah, that sounds scary… But to be fair, we mostly just embed a few YouTube videos, not evil password-stealing pirate viruses. So you have nothing to worry about.
Analytics
Who do we share your information with?
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long do we keep your data?
When you leave a comment, that comment and its metadata are stored forever. This way we can automatically recognize and approve all your follow-up comments, instead of having to moderate them. If you’re approved once, you’re approved forever. Welcome to the family!
For users who register on our site (if any), we also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can view, edit or delete your personal information at any time (except that you cannot change your username). Site administrators can also view and edit this information. Yeah, we’re still the boss here.
What rights do you have on your data?
Our website is hosted in the Netherlands, which follows the RGPD laws: that means you have total control over your data any time you want.
If you have an account on this site or you have left comments, you may request at any time an export file of all personal data that we have on you, including any data you have given us. You may also request that we delete any personal data we have on you.
This does not include data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Where do we send your data?
Comments are monitored through an automated spam detection service, so your data is sent to that service. And that’s all! We don’t sell anything, promise.
